My experience with Academy East began as a positive one. I have 3 dogs, and my chihuahua mix needed a routine teeth cleaning - he was WAY overdue. I brought him in for a checkup, pre-op bloodwork, and updating his vaccines. We saw Dr. Barta, and she could not have been kinder. She assured me of all the additional measures that she would take, since my dogs are all "senior citizens", and that we would have a great surgical experience. David and I have taken our FurBabies to Dr Padfield and her associates since her early days . We can’t say enough about the care from the Drs and the staff. They treat your pets and their parents like family . They office is expanding and that’s the reason why.
All Doctors and staff are amazing!
Everyone was friendly and efficient. My first time there and my dog seemed to like them too! Dr. Padfield was kind and thorough and took time with me explaining everything.

Dr Barta is so professional and kind! She explained why each vaccination was important. She also goes above and beyond to help find a good and how much to feed my dog to improve his health and weight ! Hugo and I think she is the best!
