Academy garage door has installed systems in two of my homes over the years. I’ll never call another company for these services. Academy is the best. Today Jorge came out for a repair and he was the ultimate professional. I appreciate the hard work and efficiency! A job well done as usual!

Will not be using this business again. We are *existing* customers (have used them to repair our garage multiple times). Last visit was in January 2026. We are not even 2 full weeks out of our “60 day grace period” and our garage door got disconnected from the motor. I called and explained what was happening and was told the best they could do was a discounted service call (offered no assistance via phone how to troubleshoot nor was shown how to troubleshoot when they were here in January). I don't believe any of these positive reviews. I called Academy to come check out my Garage door opener to get an estimate. Got one for $235 to replace the belt and one for $540 to replace the entire system. I though that was too much and w a friend replaced the belt for $70. Two weeks later I get a bill for $220 from Academy for the estimates. No one from Academy told me that there was a estimate fee. Academy Door & Control Corp has been my go-to since the 1980s, when I first started repairing garage doors as a contractor. These guys are the real deal — no-nonsense, knowledgeable, and reliable. They know garage doors inside and out and get the job done right the first time. If you want experience and professionalism, I highly recommend them.

I have used this company for years. Today, my battery began beeping and within two hours of calling, my incredible technician Jorge arrived to replace it, check and lubricate all the parts, and ensure me that I was good to go for another 5-6 years! Highly recommend this company!
