Update: Although the office staff is wonderful, I feel I need to alert readers to one of the possible side effects of Accelerated TMS. I was not told about it and experienced horrible panic attacks daily for almost a year. These panic attacks would subside into high anxiety but then escalate to another panic attack. Quite simply the best run and most welcoming medical establishment I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. Tonie and Denise at the front provided a combination of warmth and humour, while also delivering extraordinary levels of customer service. Oh, and the TMS treatments work!
For 15 years, I had a severe, unresponsive major depression that absolutely interfered with all areas of my and my family’s lives. I also had “psychomotor retardation”, a symptom of major depression for 10 years. This symptom causes extreme slowing of thought, speech and movement. I ADVISE AGAINST IF YOU HAVE SEVERE TREATMENT RESISTENT DEPRESSION Staff and technicians were very friendly, B but unfortunately I could not reach remission after 1.5 rounds of the HOPE-TMS (I was graciously given a free second trial by Doctor Carreon, who has been extremely helpful in the process, but I unfortunately could not finish the second week because I quite frankly could not get out of bed at that point as a result of my condition getting worse).
