Took my old VP commodore ute to acacia automatics.... the gearbox wouldn't stay in overdrive.... left it with them for a few days so they could work out the problem.... which they did & the gearbox works as it should do..... And to my amazement they charged me nothing for the work they did to my old ute..... definitely use them again.... praise them for honesty and time... Cheers Craig....
I dont usually do bad reviews but this has to be said..... I don't know wether you didn't want the work and jack the price up, or just wanted to rip me off. $13000 to rebuild a gearbox, add an oil cooler! Did you not think I would look elsewhere? Got the exact same job done and had a lockup kit added with the same warranty for $5400 less than you wanted to charge me. Anyone looking to get work done check the quote with other companies before getting the work done. You won't be seeing me again.
Can't thank acacia automatics enough. They rebuilt my transmission last year and the car was running great. Recently the car lost power and my now ex-mechanic advised to replace my turbo. I took the car back to acacia automatics who within half a day fixed the problem, which was a $10 item. Will be sticking with the company from now on, they are reliable and knowledgeable.
