Nice place. Very close to the water and is probably awesome in the summer. But this was March and it snowed ….and the parking wasn’t fun. Fans in the hallways off the elevator was odd but needed considering the heat was cranking. I’m not sure if this is a nice place or just a place that’s in a spot that’s nice. People were friendly
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our anniversary this February. The location is within walking distance of bars and restaurants, however, the hotel provides a shuttle service which made our lives easier since we’re not used to the snow. Room was beautiful, clean and modern. Very spacious and the fitness center was very good. Walking distance from some greet food options - but just far enough away that it is quiet in the room.
Solid choice for the location alone. Helpful staff and housekeeping. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, just very basic. The parking garage is across the street that’s easily accessible, though I am surprised there’s no valet. Our booking included breakfast, which is a self service buffet + à la carte. I had a disappointing experience at the AC Hotel in Portland, Maine. Immediately upon entering the hotel room (Room 202), a German cockroach nymph was spotted crawling on the coffee table. Seeing a cockroach out in the open during the day raises serious concerns about cleanliness and pest control. I recorded a quick video and showed it to the front desk.
