I was so fortunate to have found Aby’s Custom Upholstery after reading reviews of the business. I made an appointment with Aby. She was delightful to work with. She spent time listening to my thoughts and wishes and came up with perfect solutions. She has so many ideas and fabrics to choose from. Aby and her team did an amazing job reupholstering a chair I bought off of Facebook marketplace. They worked with me to select fabric and a pattern that would align with the style of the room the chair was fitting into, and provided a detailed quote. Their turn around was super quick -- in just a few weeks the chair was back with me and in its new space. Highly recommend Aby and her team for Bay Area upholstery. I will be back!
Aby's Upholstery recently reupholstered a chaise lounge I have. It's about 25 years old but in good condition. I just wanted to update the fabric. I received the piece back 2 days ago. It looks beautiful! Quality work and exactly what I described to Aby. Thank you for a job well done!
Oh, boy is this review overdue! It was MONTHS ago that Aby heard my plea for help with a very high-quality old-world-look sofa that was donated to support resettlement of documented, vetted refugees. I'm talking about a really special sofa, with the kind of extra features like a hard-wood frame, brass tacks, and very expensive upholstery fabric, The donor had readily pointed out that one spring had sprung, and I, with my abundance of confidence, thought I could fasten it in place with ease. Our couch is about 40 years old and it had seen better days, with torn leather and old foam as well as a collapsed steel frame. We asked Aby’s Upholstery to take a look at it, and they were so helpful and helped us find a matching Italian leather. We have now what looks like a brand new, top quality, leather couch. Ready for another 40 years! Thank you for the hard work!
