THIS PLACE IS CLOSED!! I tried to edit the map, but it was rejected. Went here for usual happy hour and was met with a Closed sign that says to use your gift cards anywhere in the country. Turns out, there are no Abuelo's left in Houston. You can check their locations on their website (hint: they're not there).
Abuelos in Katy has closed, appears to be permanent. It will be missed.
Just went here to see that it’s closed now. Best Mexican food around. Really gonna miss this place.
Salsas where not good. No real flavor on salsa Verde. Guac had no seasoning. Charro beans flavor felt like canned beans. The main course steak and enchiladas where great but not the charro beans or rice. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Had a sports bar vibe. Felt the price was not worth the flavor I was receiving for the food.
This place was elite, but it's closed now. Can we know why?
