I have had good service and bad food and bad service and good food but not good service and good food. I complained to the manager about the fajitas being cooked to a mush and he sent me two free meal tickets when we went to collect the food was better but the service was terrible because the Child that was our server wanted to flirt with the girls at another table. Abuelo's has fine food. You can get the usual Mexican dish with cheese, beans, and rice, or finer dishes. Their tilapia dish is my favorite. Their service is very good, although when they are busy you do have to allow for that.
My boyfriend and i stopped in there after shopping one night decided we would try it out. Good drinks, good mashed potatoes, honestly we really were not to fond of the place. Service was good..will we go back? No, for the money it just wasn't worth spending.
Great place! Love the food, as for the drinks...Swirl Margarita is awsome and then some. Have been there many times and will go there many more.
Me & my boyfriend ate there for my B-Day 2 weeks ago. The service was the worst we waited almost 30 minutes to get a drink. The waitress Yvonne was very rude to us. The food was not to bad, it an hopur an half to get it though. We noticed the waitress being more interested in flirting with men at the bar then us. I pulled over another waitress to get a drink & we complained to her. She told us Yvonne had been with 9 resturants in 3 years also she was fired for licking some married mans face. Gross!! We won't go back!!
My "Laredo" dinner was good, needed a little more cheese on top and maybe one more taco or enchilada.
