This friendly knowledgable surgeon has been my doctor for over 10 years, starting with just being my thyroid doctor. I recently had my gall bladder removed and he and an assistant explained procedures prior, and re-coop time. Scary to have a gall stone blocking your bile duct and have another surgery the next day! So if you puke or double over in pain after eating anything your used to, go see him, yes, he has long wait times, but he is worth the wait! The doctor is very thorough he explains to you in detail what is your medical problem. You will also explain in detail how to treat your medical problems. I have been going to this doctor for approximately 13 years I highly recommend them. He that was a general practice and he is a surgeon
I would not reommend this doctor anybody even my dog if I had one. His front staff not good, the Back nusres is awesome.
I had lower abdominal/groin pain for years and was referred to Dr Aburabara. After 10 minutes w him he INSISTED I had a hernia simply because I was overweight and a smoker. It took another 8 months to finally get what I thought was going to be a simple laparoscopic hernia repair. I was never informed about what would happen during surgery, my options or any information regarding post-op/healing. i was given a 6 in inscicion and can hardly walk due to pain - He's Also REFUSED me pain meds!
Very knowledgeable & experienced. Excellent bedside manner. The wait for appointments was sometimes long but I have experienced that with other surgeons as well. Highly recommended..
