Everyone we encountered on the Absolute hospice team was incredibly caring and patient with our family. My father received loving care from Tiffany, his nurse practitioner as well as Melissa, the social worker. The provided updates with increased frequency as my Dad started to transition. Ellen, their bereavement coordinator was also so gracious with her visits to my Dad and then checking on us after my Dad graduated to heaven. Terrible agency. Very poor follow through on care for my dad. Staff was quick to leave the home and provided little substance to the visit. Use any other agency if you vaule the health of you or your loved one.
This place is a joke.Most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with.
Last spring my dad used Absolute after a hospital stay. We are in a similar situation now, except he is coming from a nursing home (one he will never return to) and the fact that I am looking forward to working with Absolute again and that I hope the same people are still with Absolute speaks volumes. My mother left the hospital with orders for physical therapy. I supplied the name of Absolute and the Dr put the orders in. The guy named Tim called and asked to come out that day. However, I did not get the message until that night. I called him on two occasions and left two voice mails with no response. I then called Sandy at the office who said she never got the order from the Dr's office. I reminded her that that's not true because a Tim from their agency had called to come out for an assessment.
