I should have trusted my gut. I had a bad feeling the moment I walked into this place, and I regret not listening to it. Right away, I noticed my 10lb Shih Tzu, Dixie, was placed on the floor with much larger dogs running around her — instead of being safely secured in a crate or separated area. I could tell she was terrified, and frankly, so was I. I had already mentioned when booking the appointment that Dixie doesn’t love going to the groomers. Just wanted to "shout out" the awesome (and brave) ladies here! They were SO helpful in getting a nasty tick removed from my dog's ear. In addition, also very knowledgeable about preventative care, Lyme disease symptoms, and ways to avoid this from happening again. My pup was anxious, but the 3 of them held him tight and got that gross bug out, head and all.
