Very mixed experience at this practice, my review is mostly for anyone with rosacea who might be considering laser treatment. Dr O'Connor and her assistant Taj were fantastic - great bedside manner, attentive, answered all my questions. I have mild rosacea and wanted to see if Excel V laser could help reduce spider veins and redness on my face. My first experiences were great. However when I really needed an appointment, due to an extreme itch from a rash that they previously treated, the earliest I could get an appointment was a month out. They also declined to renew the prescription for the rash. I was forced to search for another provider.
I regret not reading the negative reviews before coming here. This was my first dermatology visit after a sudden acne breakout, and I expected a real consultation. The doctor I had an appointment with walked in the lobby right after I checked in. I'd never met with him, but had seen another provider there before. I need topical prescription for an auto-immune condition. He told me to get labs drawn, which I did the next day. I haven't been contacted by anyone from the practice since then, and it's been two weeks. I could have gone to a lab closer to home prior to the appointment, had they told me ahead of time. Waste of time and gas driving to Absolute Dermatology that day.
Great!
