I've only eaten Abreu's food at Brunch on Barr during the Saturday farmers' market. It was incredible! I was told the business uses the kitchen at the old Venice Restaurant on Goshen Road, but I don't know if that means they only do carry out or actually serve customers at that location. My boyfriend and I went here and enjoyed the food immensely! They have both vegetarian and vegan options available. I had the vegetarian arepa and it was some of the best vegetarian food I’ve had in Fort Wayne. My boyfriend had a chicken arepa and he absolutely loved it. He hates bean but loved the way they prepared theirs. I hate guacamole but loved their version of it!
What an amazing place! I tried their cachapas (sweet corn pancake with cheese) and it was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. Will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu!
