Bayside Urology has two locations. It has different phone numbers for each. I called the one which was closest to me. I set an appointment for 3 weeks out. Yesterday, Monday, I arrived for my appointment only to be told I was at a location where Dr Cesar Abreu, only goes to on Fridays. The receptionist at the location I arrived at said,” oh yes, this happens every day, people with appointments turn up here, you need to call them”. Excellent. Had a 2:pm appointment, everything went great, Nice staff. Busy office, still was out by 3:15.

Do yourself a favor, FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR, FIND ANOTHER PRACTICE. My appointment was 9am on a Monday, and I arrived at 8:55am. There were two other people already waiting even though the practice is supposed to open at 9am. I say “supposed” to open bc the gate blocking the front desk didn’t go up until 9:10am. At 9:40am I was called to the front desk to fill out paperwork. No visit.6 weeks waiting for the appointment and they cancel due to an emergency. 2nd appointment after waiting another 4 weeks same story. Unfortunately cannot rate his performance because it never happen.

Dr Abreu saved me from more surgery - I had already had 2 surgeries for the same bladder problem. After the 2nd, my current doc dismissed me but the left side of my bladder was still painful. I was referred to Dr Abreu by a physician that lives in my condo building. Am I ever GRATEFUL! Dr Abreu found that another growth occurred due to not enough being removed by the other surgeon. He is delicate, caring and extremely diligent. He is not easy to reach and I've had to wait a few hours at times for my appointment. SO WHAT!!!! ... read more

I have had six appointments with Dr. Abreu. I only saw him twice at the initial visit & 3rd one. Someone else did testing. The last two appointments I waited over two hours & saw no one. Clerk told me the doctor is oncall with 3 hospitals! My opinion he should not have a private practice when his patients cannot depend on him. His waiting room is a lobby for several practices and pharmacy. It is loud & uncomfortable. His skills may be good but his practice is not.

Blew me off not once but THREE times. On each apoontment he WAS NOT even in the office. The first because he had an emergency call..office was LOCKED and I could not even get onto the office. Rescheduled appt to Clearwater office and this tome agaon hevwas NOT in tje office and nkbkdy called me to prevent a trip from Dunedin. THIRD time rescheduled to Dunedin office Again..he WAS not in the office...again no call to me to prevent me from driving in. In addition his inept staff LIED to me and ins

The best Dr. ever. Dr. Abreu is caring, compassionate and an excellent urologist! I would recommend him highly.
