Having experienced several awful emergency room visits in my life, the 3 hrs spent at Abrazo was a pleasant surprise. Everyone from check in to check out was very friendly, helpful and not condescending. The triage nurse Lindsey was very sweet and Heather, the nurse who also took care of my was also very nice and helpful. The facilities aren't fancy but they are clean and well maintained. I typically don’t take the time to write bad reviews. I like to right good ones with hopes that someone will be recognized and praised to some extent. The only reason I am giving this ER 1 star is because my nurse, Emma was great! I went in with right abdominal pain that was radiating into my lower right back. I have a number of autoimmune issues and a history of diverticulitis (it felt like diverticulitis) and that is extremely painful. Worst hospital ever. Sat there for almost 5 hours, my mother has failing kidneys and pneumonia. 3rd time with pneumonia in the last year and they tell her it's non life threatening. They took back a guy with a knee brace and scooter, since when is obesity more life threatening than pneumonia to and elderly woman? Her insurance forces her to go here, but we're looking into other options. Avoid this place at all costs if you can. Staffs useless as well.
