Do not attend this office. I came in for chronic nausea and inappetence, I am disabled with chronic conditions that require daily medications. Dr. Vyas seemed pretty confident this was an ulcer and wanted to do an endoscopy. I unfortunately needed medical clearance because of my conditions but I do appreciate the extra precautions... I am relatively new to the area and was referred to Abrazo Digestive Specialists at Scottsdale for my routine colonoscopy. They contacted me quickly to schedule my initial appointment. I met with Lindsay, a nurse practitioner, and she was extremely thorough. She carefully reviewed my prior colonoscopy reports and spent lots of time talking with me. I wanted a routine preventative colonoscopy and was sent here. They weighed me, took my blood pressure and told me it was their policy that I needed cardiac clearance before they would schedule me. Why did I need to visit their office when they could have told me this on a phone or zoom call? As an ICU nurse that has assisted in more than 100 colonoscopys over the past 28 years, this visit was a total waste of my time. Requiring an office visit in this instance was ridiculous. I made an appointment with Dr. Chandra after receiving a referral from my PCP. I have had unresolved chronic issues for nearly four years, so I was really hopeful to receive some answers, guidance or treatment. Unfortunately, all I have to show for my visit is a $200.00 bill for a 4 minute consultation.
