Bob Leimgruber is truly a master at glass. We have hired Abraxis several times for home projects. The first was creating a small, etched door for our wine cellar. The second and largest was a glass counter top, mantle and shelves in the master bath. We wanted the greener look rather than clear and put LED lights behind it. He explained all of the pros and cons to the greener glass with lighting behind and it turned out exactly as planned. We build a large custom home in Northern Colorado in the classic prairie style and wanted to capture some of the design features found in a Frank Llyod Wright home of this style. We contracted Abraxis to design and then produce a number of stain glass doors and side lights which would be used to implement this vision. The work product was truly outstanding both in design as well as in implementation. The project took several months exchanging drawings and ideas. Once a design was agreed upon, the actual dimensions of the four Anderson Windows custom built transoms were shared with an Abraxis artisan by my contractor. Then size specific paper renderings were sent to my contractor and placed in the Anderson transoms to get an exact fit. I have worked with Bob at Abraxis for many years now on several projects. They have been great to work with. I most recently completed a custom home, where they provided glass components for the master shower including full panels of back painted glass, modern shower door, and a custom glass counter top for the powder bathroom. My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Bob and his talented staff. We have done many renovations on our lovely home, however, we get the most complements on the Mesquite wood front door that Abraxis made for us. I simply showed them a picture of what we wanted. I went into Abraxis Art Glass looking for a glass pantry door with a decorative glass insert for our kitchen remodel project, and ended up with beautiful, custom designed glass countertops, backsplash, divider, and a frameless glass pantry door. The glass countertops are my favorites of all the glass pieces. They are also easy to wipe down with just a damp cloth.
