Abraço is an espresso bar in the East Village that is known equally for its perky coffee as well as its savory snacks. It is a small, simple coffeehouse owned by a family. The atmosphere is cheerful and instantly uplifts the mood. The coffee is also addictive. The snacks are available past noon and rotate daily so there is always something different on offer. Got gonna lie the coffee is really good. The pourover is really delish. This is not a place for to go coffee. There’s no drip coffee so the cheapest coffee is $5. The staff I will say are very sassy and kinda rude. Someone asked for an iced flat white and got a very pretentious answer. But like their coffee is great and the vibes are pretty. Good for a somewhat large group (e.g. 6 people) or a one-one-one coffee date.
Cute little spot the pastries and peppermint tea were delicious. The space is quite small/not the most ideal for large groups, but if you can snag a table it’s a nice area to sit and chat with friends.
Abraço has a 4.3 star rating with 1,137 reviews.
