They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. I personally love dr abrantes and his entire staff! They are all laid back ad friendly. If you're wanting a very professional experience this is not te place for you. But if you want a more at ease feeling then this is your guy. They always make me feel right at home an at ease. I'm currently in my third pregnancy and wouldn't have anyone else take care of me and my baby!! He does have a sense of humor about his job. Dr Abrantesdoes have a diffrent way about him . He is not stiff and hard to understand like other drs. I absolutey feel at easy in his office . He is serious when its time to be and light hearted when he is trying to make you feel at ease. If you are very conservitive then he is not the dr for you . If you want a dr that treats you like a person and not a chart then he is the Dr for you. I will take my daughters when the time comes and that says a lot cause i am very protective.
They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly.
Dr. Abrantes was distracted and unprofessional, making some comments that could even be construed as sexual harrassment. And by the end of it I was afraid for him to even deliver my baby. Several times he would walk into the room already chatting with the nurse about something completely unrelated to my care and would continue that conversation as if I were not even there while measuring my belly or doing what he needed to do.
