I took my daughter to see him and he was rude and ignorant. He had the nerve to say to me "THESE CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY often can't be mobile because of their hips. THESE CHILDREN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY have turned out hips. And there's nothing that can really be done to correct this until it gets worse. Then we can talk about surgery and what not." We have been a patient for several years. Dr. Abramowitz is patient and understanding and has taken excellent care of our child. His staff is wonderful. We would not take our child to any other pediatric orthopedist
We returned to MD Ped Ortho Assoc bc my son broke his arm. We saw Dr.Depass a few yrs ago and loved her. Unfortunately she has passed away since. We saw Dr. Belthur at this office for our initial appt and surgery. Dr. Belthur was wonderful. Communication was difficult due to his lack of english but he repaired the break and my son was in no pain after surgery. Dr. A has been taking care of my daughter since birth, so 8 years later we see him every other year. We were able to avoid surgery through his treatment, and you would never know that she ever had a hip problem at birth. I would recommend him to anyone who has a child with any kind of orthapedic problem.
He is very unprofessional & forces his procedures through instilling fear & does not hesitate to complain to childrens protection to enforce his misjudgement. I took my daughter to another peds ortho & payed cash & he did not enforce surgery, rather gave time & she healed.
My child had surgery by this doctor. I would not reccomend him. His bed side manner is terrible.
Dr.Abramowitz has been taking care of my duaghter for the last year and he has been really great with listening to us and trying help eliminate the pain that my daughter has been suffering with for the past 4 years on and off in her hips.Prior the seeing Dr.Abramowitz we were being followed uo at Kennedy Krieger and the doctor kept telling there was nothing wrong all in her head!Now we find out that she needs surgery to correct a hip problem that has been ongoing.Dr.A has tried everything possible to avoid surgery, but nothi... read more
Dr. Abramowitz has been seeing my daughter for 5 yrs and he has been great. He suggested to let her body correct itself instead of putting her through surgery & now you would've never known anything was wrong with her hips at all. It's nice to have such a great doctor.
Dr. Abramowitz has been seeing my son for the past 2 years, and worked with him over 2 surgeries and a series of braces. He has excellent bed side manners, and has even referred us to another Orthopedic Surgeon, to get a second opinion. This was refreshing because in my experience, most specialists are somewhat arrogant, and think themselves infallible.
