Dr. Syed is wonderful and very knowledgeable. I found out I was suffering from Hyperparathyroidism through bloodwork. He pointed out that my calcium levels were high and that I should get testing done with my primary care doctor to see if I have an issue with my parathyroid glands. If it wasn’t for him, I would still not have any answers about why I was so sick and my health would continue to decline. I am not being dramatic when I say that I believe he saved my life. Doctor Syed was the only doctor that actually believed me after almost 2 years of chronic pain and severe symptoms. Thanks to him I got my diagnosis and I am finally taking the right medication. He truly changed my life. I’ll be forever grateful.
The one star is only because he appeared to care during our 20 minute conversation, until the very end. He then determined that after 25 years of treatment for my diseases, including many intense medications & procedures that I do not have any rheumatoid disease. My bloodwork, which was not taken by him for the past 25 years was a lie, including my symptoms, all of which put me in a tailspin. I drove almost two hours to see him and three hours home. I went to him a year an a half ago about a positive ANA. You’d think why am I writing this review almost two years later… well when Dr Syed saw me he said that “my ANA was a false positive” and gave an excuse for every symptom I had to lead me down roads I did not need to go down like patch testing for allergic reactions.
