I came with my daughter for a skin issue. Drove from far away and nothing at all was done by Dr. Shagen. He took a look at her skin issue with regular reading glasses and said he could not do anything. When I explained to the receptionist at the front desk the issue before coming in they did not say he was not capable of treating her. If I would have known I would have never wasted my time coming in. I do not recommend this “doctor” to anyone. If it were possible I would give him and the office staff 0 stars. Very incompetent! I’ve never seen anything like this before in my life, what a waste of time!
Run... very creepy Dr. Abovyan. I took my child to the Fort Lauderdale location on Atlantic. Abovyan kept asking(about 4x in our 10 minute exam) about my 10 year old girls genitals. I was there for a yearly skin check. When he did looked at her it was the arms and that is it. He did not use any special lights or magnifying glasses to view her moles.
