Dr William Chastain was very kind and gentle with my jittery Jack Russell , Jilly. Her mouth is a mess and he was able to examine and recommend treatment quickly. The aide working with him, a kind and gentle young woman, handled our dog very comfortably. The entire exam was easy, thorough, and very reassuring. We scheduled teeth cleaning in a week. We’ve experienced a range of situations at AAH with our 3 scotties over the last 25 years. We keep coming back, although it is a good drive from the NE side of town. I think that speaks volumes. The staff, care and compassion is top notch.
I trust Aboite Animal Hospital implicitly to care for my fur babies! Drs Chastain and Koch are simply wonderful veterinarians. I can go on for days about all of the staff members from the vets to Cathy to Daniel the vet tech, but instead I will simply tell you to go to this team for the care of your pets! They are amazing!
I love the care you receive here but they are never on time in the slightest... you will be there and waiting for atleast 30 minutes after your appointment time which usually I don’t complain about but you have to sit in the car with your pet when it’s 90+ degrees outside. Last time we went in no one even offered him water... I had to ask for what you would assume would be the obvious at a vets office.

We apologize for the wait time. Due to Covid-19, it has made our day to day operations more challenging, and we're constantly working on ways to try and improve, but there are still days where we struggle to stay on time while seeing everyone that needs to be seen. We appreciate your feedback.
The doctors, nurses and staff are all caring and professional. I have been going here with my critters since I moved back to Fort Wayne in 2014 at the recommendation of my sister. When faced with difficult news, I felt that all options were presented and possible outcomes delivered without any pressure to choose one way or the other. I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Parker and Dr. Nicole. Both are terrific! .
Everyone from the man & woman at the front desk to the doctor & nurse were so amazing! They did great with my beardie, Drogon! I was really confident in what they had to say about his health because of how healthy the office Bearded Dragon looked. Everyone was great & Drogon even loved the beard & head pets he got from the nurse & doctor! This is absolutely where I will be taking him for all future appointments.
