Horrible place, on the surface it's all bells and whistles with integracare, then you find out they nickle and dime the elderly and their families. The coffee stand always full of ants. No towels to clean the residents. They claim assisted living but all residents need assist. Leaving the staffing ratio #s to be based on assisted living basis instead of ratios based on skilled nursing homes. So many falls reported to the state for lack of staffing. I'm not a resident, but I visit both the Sr. Living and Memory Care Facilities on a regular basis. I've always found the entire staff(s) to be friendly, professional, and completely accommodating. Both Facilities are modern and are kept clean, neat and inviting. The balcony and patio areas are a real plus! The Activity Directors and teams are always working to have the residents engaged in games, listening to live music, etc...... Everyone seems very happy (and thankful) to be at such a 'classy' place! .
Abington Manor At Memory Care Village has been a true Godsend! The genuine care all the staff and management have for their residents, my mom in particular, is simply superb. Susan, the original founder, has left a beautiful legacy. I hope this program will be duplicated all throughout the entire state of Pennsylvania, and beyond.
Our family couldn't be more grateful for the compassionate care our mother received at Abington Manor. From the moment she arrived, the staff treated her with dignity, warmth, and genuine kindness. The facility itself was always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, which gave us peace of mind every time we visited.
