Tips before visiting this ER. Bring something to read. And if you can, bring external battery charger with you for your phone. Wait time is long, and the cell phone signals does not make it inside the ER, so the battery dies quick. The hospital has wifi, but you need log in to the network frequently. The staffs in general were friendly and kind even if it was during the deep in the night. Thank you!!
They get one star, because it’s the only way to write your evaluation. This hospital has been in a downward spiral ever since JEFFERSON HEALTH SERVICES took over. The only reason I go to Jefferson Abington is because if it is an emergency & I call 911, they are the only MAJOR TRAUMA MEDICAL CENTER IN THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY AREA; if you can get yourself to a different hospital, then do. Dirty, wait forever, put me in room without a toilet, gave me IV & I had severe diarrhea & vomiting from colitis; nurse finally put a bedside ... read more
Terrible, we need to pay a lot of money for wait 10 hours, although i tested positive for COVID and had asthma, very old people’s wait for 11, 12, 13 or more for see the doctor.
At least 12 hour wait in ER at 4am
