🙋🏿♀️So far, I have gotten the impression that the providers don’t want you to rely on the VA primarily. My VA provider tried to encourage me to use other insurance that I have for my concerns which are service connected. She literally stated “This is the VA” and I perceived that as, don’t expect to actually get taken care of even if you have service connected disabilities. I have needed surgery because of my sheer terror of my left rotator cuff , an injury to my left elbow from when I fractured three ribs, an injury to my right elbow when I fell carrying an air compressor that I was going to use to paint the American flag on my front yard that is covered in white rocks Adidas the American flag for the troops and airmen that fly over my house that they might see my flag and understand my patriotism for putting their life on the line.
