My Mom had a wonderful experience while she stayed here. John Brown was such a sweet man and helping her with her meals he definitely deserves a shoutout! Her nurses and doctors were great as well!
The level of care that I experienced was amazing. All staff was very helpful and supportive of my needs at the time of my visit.
I’ve had to have care at this facility twice in the last year. For someone who rarely has to see a doctor, every staff member and doctor put me completely at ease when my anxiety was high.
My mother’s stay at Hendrick South in Abilene after her bariatric surgery was extremely disappointing. During her recovery, the nursing staff was often slow to respond, or failed to responds period when the call button was pressed, leaving her waiting for assistance at times when she needed help. As a post operative patient, prompt attention should be a priority, and we did not feel that level of care was provided.Two separate nurses blew out her veins when trying to place a cannula.
