I've gone to this doctor for years and she literally never listens or takes me seriously. She always treats me like I'm just a kid faking illnesses to get medicine despite the fact that I have strong family histories for all of my complaints. I got a skin infection one time and when I showed it to her, she made a big reaction to it and repeatedly commented on how bad it looked which left me heartbroken and humiliated. Only time she ever took me seriously and it broke my confidence until it had healed completely.
Not good I went to her because someone said she was not a pill pusher but when she found out I didn't like to take pharm. drugs she really didn't want anything to do with me, I won't be going back.
She provides great care and listens to what you want to work on. She helps recommend next steps for better health and is always cheerful and helpful. Staff is very kind and helpful as well. I would recommend Dr. Battjes for anyone in the area looking a doctor that will advocate for your health.
Worst doctor I've ever had! After several years of being her patient I had to tell her what tests were needed and when medication was indicated. If you want to self-direct your care, this one is for you. Office staff was very rude when I asked to have my records transferred.
My family was recently new to the area. I had a new patient appointment and then within the following months had a few serious medical issues crop up. She has from the start listened to me, and took my concerns seriously and maintained open communication with her next steps in regards to resolving or taking care to find the root cause and then not just treating the symptoms. I at every time felt seen, heard and knew I was listened to.
