COOL CABINS IS THE WORST-HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. My family made a reservation for a condo on 4th of July at Forest Shores Lakefront in Big Bear. We made the reservation last year in 2013 and my mom called Cool Cabins every 2 months since making the reservation to ensure they had everything they needed for the reservation. Perfect cabin for a quick weekend getaway. The cabin was nice and cozy yet spacious enough for a group stay. BigBearCoolCabins are amazing with regards to customer service. Very much enjoyed that anything we needed was a quick few minute drive down the mountain, such as mingling with locals around 'The Village' and there were plenty of food/shop locations to stop by and more. If I had the time I would've stayed longer.

Satisfies all your needs – "Bear's Den" cabin was very different from the many cabins I rented in the past 6 years in Big Bear. What I liked the most was that the living room and Kitchen was upstairs, that offered us a pleasant view, specially when snows outside. Everything inside was clean and welcoming. The cabin satisfies all your needs. We been there 4 days and our stay was very pleasant. Next time I would like to have the same cabin. Strongly recommend it.

Very clean – This was our third time with Cool Cabins and our first time at Smokey Bear's Den. It was the best of our three experiences. The cabin was well-stocked, very clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed all of the "perks"- the BBQ, the deck, the fenced in back yard(especially for our dog Tango ), the books, movies, games, etc. We heard it changed owners recently and hope the new owners continue to rent it out. We would love to come back again on our yearly trip to Big Bear and stay there.

Great place – My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay recently at the Creekside cabin in Big Bear. From a snowball fight amongst the trees and creek behind the cabin, to a family air hockey tournament, to a short walk to the lake, to a warm fire while watching movies at night, the Creekside cabin was a great place to spend a few restful days.

Me, my husband, & kids had enjoyed our stay at the Big Bear Cool Cabin "The Fox Paw". The house is very modernized, clean, spacious/roomy, & on top of that it has a game room that we & our kids had enjoyed so much. We will definitely would like to go back & stay at the same cabin bcuz not that the place itself is very relaxing but it's very close by almost everything. I.E. Snow tubing play area, walk to the lake, shops, & The Village. I recommend this cabin for any family 6-7 sleeper!

Yogi Bear's Den is a fantastic cabin. Myself and a few other friends were participating in the Tough Mudder, an endurance run, at nearby Snow Valley. The cabin was in a great location, fantastic condition, and a great place to relax after the run. We spent a good amount of time in the game room relaxing and really enjoyed the wide open kitchen/living room area. A great place to go with friends. We will definitely be back next year.

We had a great time at this cozy, comfortable, clean cabin. This is not the right place if you want to be in a remote, woodsy setting. But if you like having your kids walk right over to the lifts and be able to come back to the cabin for a quick lunch and take off again, it's perfect... just steps away from Bear Mountain. The cabin was nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some good meals. The house was great, big and spaced out enough that it never felt crowded with 15 of us. For a group this size most will have to share sleeping quarters but other than that the house is definitely big enough. The customer service that Big Bear Vacations provided was 2nd to none, it really made the trip that much better, i will be using them anytime i come back to Big Bear!
