While shopping in Lincolnton, I noticed a rubbing noise from my car's tires. Afraid to drive home, I stopped at Abernethy and asked if my car could be checked that day. Though there was a line of cars for service, my car was repaired while I waited. Thank you for fitting me in on a busy day.
Worst experience ever, from beginning to end. I drove over 1 1/2 hours to purchase a 2026 Buick Envista from this dealership, Salesman was nice but lackluster in not only putting the deal together but also in correctly getting the documentation done in a timely manner. A hour into the drive home (1 1/2 hours) the vehicles check engine light came on and said it was unsafe to drive and my wife barely made it home. I have always been please with my experiences at Abernathy. Will not take my vehicle anywhere else. Between the salesman (Larry) and everyone else we are always taken care of.
I will never do business with them again. after rejecting my offer on a used truck, they called me back 2 days later saying they would take it. After purchasing the vehicle, I discovered the check engine light was now on. The truck needed new catalytic converters (2600 to fix). Abernethy refused to do anything simply saying used cars were sold as is. If you do decide to purchase from them, I would recommend double checking everything before you sign anything.
Always friendly and prompt. Great service. Glad I switched from Ford in 2023.
