The Turkey And Dressing dinner was great. Also had the lemon pie. All 4 of us Really enjoyed the service and atmosphere.
A little gem tucked in by the Walmart, Able's Diner took me back in time with a lovely meal. Don't get me wrong, the place is old and worn but what it lacks in decor it more than makes up with flavor. Home cooking that warms the heart.
My wife's Uncle Bob took us to eat at Abel's while visiting in Cibolo, TX from Virginia. Great little jewel of a resaurant! Delicious food, friendly staff, wonderful local flavor. Looking forward to returning soon.
Food is of great variety, prices are great and service is great. Location is a bit difficult to get to... but worth it! Get there early or go later... most of the true meal times are busy.
This place is awesome. The owner Abel is so friendly, and so are his prices. The food is always fresh and a good variety as well. There are also daily specials. The homemade dinner rolls are really good. If you can, on the weekends the homemade cinnamon rolls are wonderful--if you can get any before they are all gone---they go really fast. My family have been regular customers of his since he opened (over 15 yrs ago I believe).
