I recently had the hardwood floors in my home refinished by Jim and his team. They had been covered by carpeting for at least 20 years. Once uncovered, we found there were some old pet stains that did not completely come out. Although I did not originally plan to stain the floors, we did because of the stains and they turned out great. I like them much better than I think I would have without staining them.
