Presentation of diagnosis of potentially life altering chronic illness kind but detached. Needs more skills in active listening, nonverbal communication, delivering difficult news which are all key elements in patient centered care to develop trust. Additionally, at this Stony Brook practice issues with availability of medical records and up to date charting. For example incomplete records in Stony Brook Patient Portal.
