Bad steak! We stopped at Rod's on the way out of the canyon. I was excited for a nice steak dinner. Instead, I got a pretty bad cut of meat. The restaurant was nice and service friendly, but the food was bad!
Good service, OK steak I took my family to Rod's Steak House for a good steak dinner and Route 66 nostalgia. Our server was very attentive and quick. The prime rib and filet mignon were decent, but not really good. My filet (rare) was a bit chewy and less than tender, and my wife's prime rib (medium well) was tender but somewhat bland.
