I’m a local and I’ve been shopping there for years. Love the selection and the owner always goes the extra mile.
I feel like they need a little revamp. Just went in and the store is a mess, the person working didn’t say hello or goodbye, just sat on the computer. I asked about looking for an outfit for my son and she made a noise of acknowledgement and then basically ignored me. They used to have such cute clothes! I have shopped in the past and would try again, but wasn’t impressed this time.
This shop is clueless about e-commerce, and their website and communication methods are still stuck in early 2000. I placed an order on May 1st through the shop's website. Upon receiving an order confirmation, I noticed it lacked any details about my purchase, except for a message stating that my order would be shipped within 2 business days. My daughter and I, and my 6 month old grandson stopped in to this lovely store on Oak Bay Avenue and was astonished at the great selection of items, both new and on consignment. Lots of selection of clothes, shoes, books, accessories, etc. We are returning today to purchase a new sleepsack. There were about four other customers in the store while we were there and it felt very welcoming. The owner was pleasant and helpful and, overall, the store is great to have on Oak Bay Avenue.
