Lobster was dry....first one was no good had to return it. Lobster rolls dry and very skimpy...hardly any mayo or flavor. Tables not sanitized fast enough or good enough. Still dirty after young man cleaned it. Had towel he was using in a ball trying to clean table.

The lobster rolls tasted burnt and the clam chowder was cold. First, and last, time going there.

Abbott's is the absolute best place to get seafood in Connecticut and dare I say Southern New England. I never had a bad experience with service, food or otherwise. the views are what you dream about with seaside eateries. I'd recommend Abbott's to everyone. Abbott's deserves a million stars. it to me deserves a Michelin star.

Called and tried to place an order over the phone, the girl said they weren't busy AT ALL, so come on down, and she hung up. Got there and waited an hour to order...that counts as busy in my book. The crab cakes were probably the worst I ever tasted..no lump meat and the only flavor I tasted was egg and flour...still can't figure out what that's all about..and they were flat as pancakes...Ordered the mussels with white wine and garlic, they were a little over cooked and there was just the tiniest bit of liquid in the bowl.
