Had my shoulder’s examined by DR Abbot the first time and was told that if the problem persist that he could try a shot in the left side that is worse than the right. Went back again, and then examined again now he does not want to try a shot. Now needs a MRI, well now we have to go to Longview so I can do the open MRI, OK but my right shoulder has problems and probably another cyst on the back side. I was told Dr. Abbott was scary mean and didn't like heavy patients. I am a heavy patient. I gained weight due to injuries and to my knees that were painful and caused me from being as active as I once was. Dr. Abbott couldn't have been further from the truth than that. He was actually has a very good personality. Was a good surgeon. Explain things well I received excellent care from him and his care team. Dr. ABBOTT, first, thank you for considerate and excellent care. The time you spent teaching has been well rewarded. This day, I completed full ROM on right shoulder with zero discomfort. Cara in xray was great. Personable and knowledgeable. Mike was excellent on intake and of course Doc Abbott is the best in the business. That's why i am seeing him for total knee replacement surgery
