It's one thing to have issues and concerns over the 'life and accuracy' of the Freestyle Libre 2 sensor but it's another thing (unprofessional) in failing to acknowledge receipt (or reply) to an email dated Wednesday, 6 May 2026 11:33 AM titled: 'COMPLAINT AND CONCERNS', (full of detail and iPhone screen shots).
Very poor customer support. I purchased a Libre 2 sensor from Chemist Warehouse for over $100, and it was faulty from day one. When I contacted customer support for a replacement, they refused unless I provided a doctor’s certificate. This makes no sense I bought the product privately, not through any subsidy program, so this is simply a faulty product issue. These guys aren’t so bad. I am a type one diabetic that uses the libre 2 plus sensors every day. I buy them from the pharmacy and every now and then I get one that is faulty. I call up Abbott, they take my details and confirm a few facts on the libre app- the error message, sensor serial number, what software my phone is running, what type of phone I use - then bam - they send me a replacement in the mail that arrives in a few days. 1 Star Review Very disappointing experience with Abbott Diabetes. I requested to cancel my order before the product was sent, but they went ahead and shipped it anyway without any communication. When I contacted them and asked for a refund, they refused to process it. Terrible customer service and no respect for customer requests. I will not be ordering from them again.
This company is terrible. The first device I was sent was faulty snd they refused to refund my money. I stupidly ordered another from them. They use DHL for deliveries and I am still waiting after almost 3 weeks for an important diabetes monitor. Not surprised to see Abbott have an overall rating of 1 star
