These guys aren’t so bad. I am a type one diabetic that uses the libre 2 plus sensors every day. I buy them from the pharmacy and every now and then I get one that is faulty. I call up Abbott, they take my details and confirm a few facts on the libre app- the error message, sensor serial number, what software my phone is running, what type of phone I use - then bam - they send me a replacement in the mail that arrives in a few days. 1 Star Review Very disappointing experience with Abbott Diabetes. I requested to cancel my order before the product was sent, but they went ahead and shipped it anyway without any communication. When I contacted them and asked for a refund, they refused to process it. Terrible customer service and no respect for customer requests. I will not be ordering from them again.
This company is terrible. The first device I was sent was faulty snd they refused to refund my money. I stupidly ordered another from them. They use DHL for deliveries and I am still waiting after almost 3 weeks for an important diabetes monitor. Not surprised to see Abbott have an overall rating of 1 star
Since Free Style Libre 2 Plus started we have had two of the Free Style Libre 2 that were faulty. After supplying details of the sensors we then received an email asking for a incredible amount of non essential information to receive replacements. The use by date of the faulty ones was 30/04/2026.
Do not buy unless you are getting Insulin injections or the product is void of warranty, I've spent around $300 on 3 devices, and only 1 has almost worked for the full 2 weeks, im ordering mine from overseas as a bundle. Only get it if you get it for free from NDIS. Update: abotts is way off, My friend has told me to use dexcom g7, says his used it and its more accurate for levels, but it's a few dollars more and only runs for 10days, but it can match up to a couple of watch brands.
