Susan came for measurements. I told her that I needed to butt the new vinyl up against the old vinyl floor that is in the living room. And also needed a slight incline from the master bedroom to the master bathroom and also had to get butted against the vinyl in the bathroom. I told her it has to be a smooth transition so I can roll the Hoyer lift from room to room. She argued with me and said it couldn't be done because of the warranty. We were selecting a carpet runner for a staircase with very specific requirements. Unfortunately, the sales rep we worked with did not educate and guide us correctly and we chose a carpet that wasn't going to work for our situation. Unfortunately, our builder had to put in a lot of extra effort to change the staircase in order to work with the selected carpet which could have been avoided.
