Kevin came to troubleshoot a problem with my furnace. He fixed the problem quickly, gave me lots of info about the state of my furnace and the possible solutions. He also replaced my thermostat for a more efficient one. During all the activity, he was pleasant and polite - didn't push anything on me but was quite informative. I wish all repairmen were like him.

Received quick service for my old furnace two times this winter. I am very satisfied with the service, which included explaining the issues and answering questions I had.

I had a furnace check-up appointment in… I had a furnace check-up appointment in December and was told I needed my ducts cleaned. I scheduled an appointment for February but forgot the exact date, so I called to confirm. I was initially told there was no appointment on file. After about an hour of complaining, they found my service appointment and offered to reschedule, but at a new price of $600.00 instead of the original $450.00. I declined and asked to cancel my monthly home protection plan, which Enercare will charge me ... read more

I gave Enecare, the company that supplied my water heater, a glorified kettle, to my home for six years because we had no difficulty with it. However, I would not recommend anyone to rent a water heater. I paid around 40$ a month all that time, way over 4000$ when they can be purchased for 600-1600 plus installation. Never mind my poor financial habits; the trouble came when I sold my house. The company expects the rental person(me ) to get the purchaser of their home to take over the heater or make arrangements. The purchas... read more

KEN BAIRD: March 25/2025: returned to install parts ordered for the two showers in the basement and to replace the faulty ¾ mixing valve in our water heater tank (due to hot water being only 109 degrees instead of 150 degrees Celsius). He was able to replace the water tank mixing valve, but the parts he received are not the correct parts, so back to square one. Nonetheless, I cannot think of any more adjective besides the best ones I have described about everyone of the Enercare servicemen dispatched to our home. They are al... read more

SHAUN HAVILL: (Enercare electrician) Several visits. I was looking here for my review for Shaun but I could not find it. He has visited us several times on different occasions and different electrical problems. I will lump them all in this review, what I can remember. I want to record his excellent service extended to us. I may forget a few but at least with what I can remember to record here, you will know how competent, responsible, knowledgeable, helpful, professional, etc, etc, etc, you name it (happy consumer here) this... read more

SCOTT BRENZIL (water softener and water filter, tankless water heater). March 25/2025: I called for re-assent if possible to install a tankless water heater because I want to gain some space in our furnace nook. AS two previous times, the technology being still the same re:space require t for space and outside vents, our home does not qualify for it. However, he assured us that whatever we have (tank water heater) is good enough for the number of occupants in our home and cheaper than having the tankless one for our situatio... read more

KEN BAIRD (plumbing-2 showers in the basement). He was here on March 18/2025. He had been here on another plumbing problem previously. As usual, he gave us an excellent service experience. He is very thorough, professional, polite, informative and patient with us old folks. He ordered the parts needed and will get back to us when received. These guys gives us hope and better quality of Life. Thank you Ken.

FRANK MORIELLO (furnace maintenance). As always we get excellent service from Enercare employees. We get emails when to schedule our maintenance services. I set an appointment and they come to do the task. Today Frank came and he was a delight to talk to. In our conversation we mentioned to him that our hot water is a bit low or not heating up properly during showers. He checked it and recommended to change the 3/4 mixing valve and called the Enercare plumber for us to explain it properly. This is what I meant with SERVICE. ... read more
