I came to Abbeville thinking I was going to get my normal free teeth cleaning like I do every year through my insurance. I was surprised to hear I needed a “deep clean” which they told me would cost $400 out of pocket but insurance should cover the rest (so they said). Then I received a bill stating this was not medically necessary and the insurance company found no evidence from the x-ray that showed any reason for me to need this procedure so it would not be covered and would cost another $200.
