My stepson was diagnosed with Autism in his elementary years, and because he is high functioning, apart from extra time with school work and other school related concessions, he hadn't received much help with his behavior. Initially, I did an Autism consultation with Dr. Gilbert and she recommended that I do the Autism evaluation ADOS in the sister company Crystal minds psychological services. The only unfortunate thing is that they do not take insurance for this. I think that it was reasonably priced once I got the feedback which was within three weeks …not bad… I started ABA Services here. Beyond grateful for Dr. G and her staff. They are welcoming, gentle and understanding. Our daughter's aversion to adults and children was challenging. When I was ready to give up, Dr G. suggested a different approach that allowed her to slowly overcome and succeed her fears. Would never hesitate to seek her guidance again if needed.
I definitely think this would be a good place for my niece to visit.
