Dr. Shah has a wonderful bedside manner and makes my children feel very comfortable at the drs office.
One of the worst places I have had experience with. I was a little late to my baby’s appointment because there was so much traffic before we left and they didn’t see us. I was probably 15 minuets late and they sent us back saying they can’t accommodate us. When you have a baby things happen and they weren’t ready to listen to anything. She kept saying there was no time available but what would the doc be doing in the time slot they had already booked for my baby. I will never be going to summit again. We have had the pleasure of having Dr. Shah as our daughter’s pediatrician since the day she was born, and we couldn't be happier with the care she provides. Dr. Shah is incredibly knowledgeable and kid-friendly. She never rushes through an appointment; instead, she takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of our baby development and any questions we may have. Dr. Shah was incredibly thorough with my daughter, called multiple times to follow up and even over the weekend to check in. We are so appreciative of her.
I see that Dr. Shah gets good reviews; maybe that's because she is better with kids who do not have weight problems. If your child is overweight, please see someone else! My son left his appointment with Dr. Shah feeling badly about himself. She shamed him to his face. She didn't ask to speak to his father privately. If she had, she would have known that he has seen an endocrinologist and that we are dealing with it.
