Salem Health, specifically Salem Health Orthopedics - Keizer, leaves A LOT to be desired. I had a test done and had not heard back re: results so when I called "the office" today (they told me the results were in a week ago!) No call, no alert in mychart :( Every time I call them it is clear their staff has no idea what is going on and just push my call around. Terrible!
I had surgery on my wrist from a pretty severe break. The staff have been amazing to deal with. I have felt like I'm important to them and they always have answered all my questions. When I have needed any referrals for additional services they have been amazing at assuring that was done quickly helping me get an appointment very quickly. Hands down best doctor you could ask for 🙌 no puns intended. Dr . Karlan clearly communicates what is going to happen & what to expect with a demeanor that very few doctors have. He makes you laugh at the right moments, but is also very serious and genuine when the time comes. If you’re in need of a hand surgeon don’t hesitate to reach out to Dr. Karlan!!!
What an absolute treasure. Dr. Karlen is pleasant, personable, and clearly has a passion for small, complex hand/wrist bone problems! He did a great job explaining my injury, but it almost felt like he was excited to take care of it. Nerding out, maybe? Whatever the reason, I left feeling very confident in my treatment plan, and that Dr. Karlen has the knowledge and passion to help me recover from my injury.
The attention to detail and ability to help me has been seriously amazing! I am so thankful that Hope and Dr. Karlen are a part of my healing 💯🤩🤗
