He frequently emphasizes his “Mayo-trained” background; however, when I sought care at the Mayo Clinic and returned with a list of evidence-based treatment recommendations from their team, those recommendations were dismissed. He declined to adjust my medications to the doses advised, which left me continuing to experience debilitating migraines. Incredible care. Took his time to explain everything and provided several options. One of the most thorough caregivers I have ever experienced.
Dr. Bubolz referred my mother to an inpatient clinic and stated we could continue outpatient care with his office after her inpatient stay. After two admissions at inpatient he is refusing to treat her. I was present when he made the statements. We are left with no neurologist to address her migraines. Dr. Bubolz put us in a bad situation. Be careful if your family member is in a similar spot. I am disappointed a doctor who’s supposed to care for people treated our family this way.
