Dr Joiner has excellent personality and good character explained everything to me on my problem and gave me great advice on remedy which helped recomend him highly for anyone with the problem he can solve

Dr. A E Joiner has been my ortho doctor since he and Dr Clement opened in the old Flirence Clinic basement. He has operated on my rotator cuff and replaced a knee in addition to multiple scopes, bursitis and arthritis. He is the best bone doctor in NW Alabama in my opinion. Skilled and attentive, no complaints. Thank you Dr Joiner and Patty, his nurse, for excellence across the board in caring for our family.

Dr. Joiner did my ACL Reconstruction in November 1993. To this day, Orthopedic Surgeons marvel at how well my surgery has held up over the years.
This skilled 'sawbones' has sawed on me multiple times, knees, shoulders. Jokes aside, Dr. A.E. Joiner knows his trade and was amply trained including a fellowship with Dr. Edwards in Birmingham, who is orthopaedic surgeon sought by many pro athletes for his expertise. Dr. Joiner listens, explains, executes and cares for you post op. I trust him with my health. Dr Joiner has earned my trust in the office, OR, and follow-up. His nurse is irreplaceable: efficient, knowledgeable, ever smiling.
Has anyone had any complications with this doctor? Everything with a 'friend' and their procedure has seemed rushed including the short period of time in surgery for a total hip replacement. I am concerned because, personally, I put my faith in a more credible establishment such as Vanderbilt or Semmes Murphy. None of my friends in the medical field have ever heard of this guy. I am worried.
