I believe in working to prevent further heart problems and appreciate the ability to follow my patients beyond the phase in the hospital. Beyond my day job, I am involved in improving the outcomes of sudden cardiac arrest in the community.

I enjoy my appointments with Dr. Doonan. He shares information in a direct succinct manner. He makes suggestions to improve my cardio health with follow up to see if I am following his orders.
Dr Doonan is one of kind doctor he makes me feel very informed on all my options in the medical world today. I wish all doctors could have the personal compassion that he has. Dr Doonan is the most amazing doctor I have ever meet on my life. I owe my life to this man and trust him without any questions. He’s an A plus in my book. Thanks

Dr. Doonan saved my life. I entered the hospital with a heart attack after 40 minutes of CPR. He implanted a stent, and I quickly recovered. This was over three years ago. Since then, I run 5 miles every morning, work out 40 minutes each night, and ride a horse twice a week. I am completely back to normal. Of course, I give God the credit, but He acted through Dr. Doonan, who is a consummate professional - knowledgeable, personable, approachable, and caring. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
