Dr Dickens is very professional, he let me know the problem the 1st day, and that surgery to the knee area was a must, and over all it would take time to heal and get better. The next day after initial visit I was in renown surgical center to get things resolved. I was very scared but he assured me that over time I’d be ok. It’s been 5 days and as meditation wears off I’m feeling different sensations but the biggest thing is itching, so maybe that’s a good sign? Dr. Dickens and his staff always made me feel listened to and like I was part of the team that helped make decisions about my care. While I would have enjoyed feeling less like a science experiment (I don't know if it will work, but we can try it) and more like someone else had all the answers (apparently not really an option when dealing with traumatic injuries), I came to appreciate his approach to my condition. I'm grateful I got the best trauma surgeon around when I needed him!
