3 Years ago, I made an appointment with Dr. Lee at HSS for my right hand thumb. It was determined that I had arthritis. He recommended Physical Therapy. I moved out of the area shortly there after, I went and saw a different doctor near my new home. We did PT with no improvement. Started doing Cortisone shots and in the beginning had some positive results, but the shots effects became less and less. As a result, they recommended surgery. Recently, I moved back to NYC. Very knowledgeable and qualified yet wouldn’t call him the warmest doctor. Tends to be very impatient if you ask questions and basically tries to rush you out of there.
A great and kind doctor, who helped my son with a broken finger! And checked on my incident of random finger pain as well.
