I can not say enough about the staff. Everyone is amazing. I had both knees replaced by Dr Altenburg. I am only 3 months out from the first one and 7weeks from the second. I feel like I could hike for miles. I can't imagine what I will accomplish after 12 weeks. Watch out Chuck Norris....
Dr Altenburg is the by far the best surgeon/doctor I've ever interacted with. Having to have a knee replacement at a young age, he made me feel confident that if I had the surgery I'd be better than before. 10 weeks post op, and I'm glad I used him. Not only is he a great doctor, but he goes out of his way to keep you comfortable and to answer any questions you have pre and post-op. Because of him, I'm finally excited about my knee and eager to see how much better I feel when fully healed.
I was really scared going in for my first major surgery but Dr A and his team took it and had me all snug in my room in no time meaning I woke up and all done!!! He and his whole team know how to handle us patients with kid gloves and then some....thank you all for making it as comfortable as ya can!! See ya on the LK soon!!FYI....his bedside manner goes above and beyond most doctors ......Thanks to you and all of your team from both offices ......
I would give Dr. Altenburg a 10 star if I could. He is not only an excellent surgeon, but is such a nice man. He replaced both of my hips and was super awesome through the whole experience. His staff is so friendly as well. Go see him!
Had a hip replacement 2 1/2 months ago. I was suppose to hear from them 2 weeks after surgery 3 and half weeks later someone called. I was having pain issues and they didn’t seem to care. I still have a lot of issues and don’t know where to turn
