I would give Dr. Altenburg a 10 star if I could. He is not only an excellent surgeon, but is such a nice man. He replaced both of my hips and was super awesome through the whole experience. His staff is so friendly as well. Go see him!

Had a hip replacement 2 1/2 months ago. I was suppose to hear from them 2 weeks after surgery 3 and half weeks later someone called. I was having pain issues and they didn’t seem to care. I still have a lot of issues and don’t know where to turn

Dr. Altenburg and his team replace my knee four years ago. Very positive outcome. I am a registered nurse and I postop hundreds of Dr. Altenburg's patients. Dr. Altenburg is a leader in the world of orthopedic surgery. He made himself available 100% of the time not once did I attempt to call him concerning patient care that he did not respond. He will always be my preferred physician

I know that doctors are not angels but when you have pain and a doctor eliminates the pain, it's hard not to feel like you are the recipient of a miracle. I understand that this is science but sometimes the right doctor at the right time, can change someone's life and simply saying thank you (similar to what you might say to someone who just carried your groceries to the car) doesn't seem like enough.
